In this case, we advise you to use a new email, and not to use your primary email where you receive important information, so that your information is not exposed to spying if your phone is hacked.

2. Do not leave Bluetooth and wifi on

Something that should be mentioned, is not to leave WiFi or Bluetooth turned on, as some phones have the feature to connect to any Bluetooth or open WiFi connection automatically, and from it, if anyone targets you to hack, it will create an open network and your phone will connect to it and thus you will be hacked.

3. Avoid connecting to open networks

Many people consider that getting free internet is a profitable deal, however, you do not know the owner of the network specifically and if hackers are trying to hack you, and many users have been exposed to hacking incidents that ended in losing digital credits, and other cases of electronic blackmail and others.

4. Check your phone periodically to see if there are hidden applications in your phone that spy on you without your knowledge

Lots of apps on the Google Play Store hide malware or viruses in the form of educational apps and games. These malicious apps hide their presence on victims' devices by removing their icons from the home screen. They redirect victims to install another app on the Google Play Store. Your partner could also be spying on you by installing spyware that disappears without you knowing, so it is important to constantly check your phone to see if it is there or not.

5. Know the powers of each application

You should pay attention to all the applications on your phone before downloading, including making sure that they do not ask for more permissions than you need. If you find an application that does not need the sound or the camera to work, even though it makes it one of the powers, you should beware of it. Also, you can go into your phone settings and disable suspicious permissions for any application.

6. Activate Play Protect

It is good that Google Play has a great feature that helps you protect your phone from spying, and here we mean those applications that someone else puts in your phone to spy on you. What you will do is enable the Play Protect feature from Google Play settings and it will enhance your privacy.
